Artist's Bio
Matthew Sherwood was raised in Fairborn Ohio. After spending a year at Sinclair Community College in Dayton Ohio, Matthew decided to move to Baltimore Maryland to pursue his passion in painting. He spent 2 years at Community College of Baltimore County, after which he attended MICA, where he received a Bachelor's degree in painting in May 2010. Matthew has had a couple of opportunities to show his artwork around Baltimore and Maryland. Matthew's paintings and drawings are most often figure based, and show a lot of himself, as they deal with personal history, identification, and personal difficulties in expressing a variety of different emotions.
